                Materials:

4 yards ribbon, cord or plastic lacing
1 key ring or lanyard hook
                137 brown pony beads
                40 orange pony beads
                2 black pony beads
                1 orange pipe cleaner (optional)

Special Instructions: Begin by making 6 rows of the head.

Antlers: Each antler is done using one strand. String on 13 beads. Go back through beads #11 & 12, then 8, 9 & 10.
                Add on 3 more beads (#14, 15, 16) and weave back through beads #14 & 15. Weave through beads #4, 5, 6, & 7.
Add on two more beads (#17 & 18). Weave back through bead #17, then through beads #1, 2, 3. Weave back through
the two orange beads on the head to attach the antler.
Ears: Add on 3 beads and weave back through two beads. Attach the ear by weaving through the end bead of row 5
on the head. Repeat these steps for the other antler and ear.

Continue with body pattern. Weave the pipe cleaner through the finished antlers to make them stiff.
