Golduck - Pokémon #55

            Materials:

            3 ˝ yards ribbon, cord or plastic lacing
            1 extra yard of ribbon, cord or plastic lacing for the tail
            1 key ring or lanyard hook
            118 denim or Williamsburg blue pony beads (see note)
            9 yellow pony beads
            2 white pony beads
            12 white mini pony beads
            8 yellow mini pony beads
            1 translucent red mini pony bead
            Brown craft paint pen for drawing on eyes

            Note: You can find the denim blue beads at Wal-Mart or you can use the Williamsburg blue beads from Bolek’s.

            Special Instructions: Begin by lacing 3 beads onto one strand and weaving back through beads marked #1 & 2. Add
            on two more beads (#4 & 5), then weave back through beads #1 & 2 again. Do the same with the other strand. Add on
            the mini red bead and pull strands through the opposite set of beads to attach and make a complete row as shown. Make
            a spike on each side and continue with the pattern. For the hands and feet--add two beads and one white mini bead.
            Weave back through bead #2. Add on a yellow mini, blue and white mini bead, marked #4, 5, & 6). Weave back through
            beads #5, 1 then through 5 again. Add on another yellow mini, blue and white mini bead, marked #7, 8 & 9. Weave back
            through bead #8 and go back through bead 1. Continue with the pattern.

            To make the 3-D tail--use a separate piece of ribbon or cord, and weave it through the 3 beads of the body that are marked
            with "T". Follow the pattern and knot.
