10 mini black pearl pony beads (for the ears)
7 mini green pearl pony beads
                4 mini white pony beads
2 mini tan pony beads (for 3-D beak)
Black, red and white craft paint pen for drawing on eyes.

*Note: Michael’s sells this unusual color bead which is also great for making frogs and turtles.

Special Instructions:
Begin as usual with 3 beads. Add on the ears using the mini beads. For the 3-D beak, add on the 7 beads of that row. With the other strand, go through only 4 of the beads,
with the strand coming out of the center (tan) bead. Add on a mini tan bead and loop back through the center tan bead and repeat. Finish by going through the remaining 3 beads of that row. Continue
with the pattern up to the mini green beads. Then on each strand add 3 mini green beads and weave back to form a triangle. Add on the last mini green bead to complete the row. Next add the two
dark green beads in the usual manner. For the feet, on one strand add on a tan and a mini white bead, then go back through the tan bead and repeat. Do the same for the other strand. Add on the
last tan bead in the center and knot.
