Irish Hat

designed by Evelyn McDermand

            Materials:

1 ˝ yards ribbon, cord or plastic lacing
1 key ring or lanyard hook
            36 green pony beads
8 yellow, gold or gold glitter pony beads
            5 black pony beads

Note: Pay close attention to the string path when you get to the brim.. It was designed this way to keep the last row
of beads from separating and hanging down. However, if you are having a problem with it, just continue doing the last
two rows using the normal string pattern. Another way to solve the sagging problem at the bottom is to reinforce the last
two rows, using the method explained in the instructions for the Gingerbread Man or Buzz Lightyear pattern on Margo’s site.
