            Materials:

3˝ yards ribbon, cord or plastic lacing
1 key ring or lanyard hook
            77 ivory pony beads
            54 rust pony beads
            2 white pony beads
Black sharpie marker or craft paint pen for drawing on eyes

Special Instructions: Carefully follow the string path on this design. Begin by lacing 3 beads onto both strands.
Using one strand, make a "spike" and repeat on other side. Then add on the first row of 3 beads in the usual manner.
Add a bead (one on each side) and make another set of spikes. Make the row with the eyes, then the next row adding
an extra bead onto the last bead. The next row consists of 10 ivory beads. Then make the arms. To make the claws, lace
on 11 beads. Go back through beads marked 9 & 10, then through beads 7 & 8. Go through bead 4 and add on bead 12.
Then go through beads 3, 4, 5 & 6 and 1 & 2. Go back through the arm and through the first bead of the first row of ivory
beads. Make the next row of 7 beads, and make the first set of legs (the long ones), ending up going through the first bead
of the row of 7 beads. Make the other set of legs (the short ones). Add the last row of 4 beads in the usual manner and knot.
