Krabby - Pokémon #98

designed by Evelyn McDermand

            Materials:

3˝ yards ribbon, cord or plastic lacing
1 key ring or lanyard hook
74 bone or light brown pony beads
            40 red pony beads
            2 white pony beads
Black sharpie marker or craft paint pen for drawing on eyes

Special Instructions: Carefully follow the string path on this design. Begin by lacing 3 beads onto one strand
to make a "spike" and repeat on other side. Then add on the first row of 4 beads in the usual manner. Add a bead
(one on each side). The next row consists of 6 beads and then add a bead onto each side. Go on to the next row,
then make the arms. To make the claws, lace on 11 beads. Go back through beads marked 9 & 10, then through
            beads 7 & 8. Go through bead 4 and add on bead 12. Then go through beads 3, 4, 5 & 6 and 1 & 2. Go back through
the arm then make the next row. Now make the first set of legs (the long ones), ending up going through the first bead
of the previous row. Make the other set of legs (the short ones). Add the last row of 4 beads in the usual manner and knot.
