Pinky, the Flamingo

                     Materials:

                    3 ½ yards ribbon, cord or plastic lacing
                    1 lanyard hook
                    88 hot pink pony beads
                    34 light pink pony beads
                    8 orange pony beads
                    2 black pony beads

                    Note:  You don’t begin with a lanyard hook. It is added where indicated by the star. Lace the hook on just as you would a bead.

                    Special Instructions for the wings: Follow the string path carefully around the wings. Lace 15 beads onto one strand, and weave back through.
                    After completing both wings, only go back through the top (1st) bead of each wing. Continue with the next row of 4 beads of the body, then weave the ends through the
                    bottom (2nd) bead of the wing. This with attach the wings to the body. Continue with the pattern.

                    Special Instructions for the legs:  Lace 17 light pink beads on one strand. Follow the string path and weave back through 2 beads at time to create the leg. Repeat
                    steps for the other leg. Weave the strand through the middle and 2 beads of the hot pink row of beads and out to the side. Repeat for the other leg. Tie knots.
