Materials:
2 ˝ yards ribbon, cord or
plastic lacing
1 key ring or lanyard hook
62 teal pony beads
25 white or cream pony beads
2 black pony beads
Special Instructions:
Pay close attention to the string path for the tail fins. Work the
pattern in the usual manner down to the bead that I have marked
“0”. Working with only the right strand, lace on the
4 beads and weave back through as shown and through bead “0”.
Using the left strand, lace on the 8 beads, following the numbers.
Skip bead #8 and weave the strand back through beads #6&7,
then
through #4&5 and back through beads #2,3,0 &1. Also weave
the right strand through bead #1. You should end up with both
strands on the same side of bead #1. Tie a knot.
