Sandy Cheeks, from " Spongebob"

designed by Evelyn McDermand

        Materials:

3½  yards ribbon, cord or plastic lacing
1 key ring or lanyard hook
        59 white pony beads
        24 clear pony beads
        16 gray pony beads
7 bone or light brown pony beads
        6 tan pony beads
        1 coral pony bead
        1 yellow pony bead
        1 pink flower bead* (optional)
Black sharpie marker or craft paint pen for drawing on eyes and eyelashes.
Red and Blue sharpie marker or craft paint pen for drawing stripes on arms as shown.  (Note: do both arms)

*You may be able to find flower beads at a craft store. Another option is to use a sticker or make one with pink paper. Use your imagination!

Special Instructions:  Pay close attention to the string path when making the arms and hands.  To make the arms, string on 9 white beads.  Go back through
beads marked #6 & 7.  Add on bead marked #10.  Go back down through bead #7 and then through beads 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1 to complete the arm and hand.

Repeat the process for the other arm.  When pattern is finished, glue flower on left side of ear and draw on eyes and stripes. (My daughter wasn’t happy with
this pattern until I added the stripes!)
