Santa Star
Materials:
2 ˝ yards ribbon, cord or plastic lacing
1 key ring or lanyard hook
27 red pony beads
24 white pony beads
16 black pony beads
2 tan or ivory pony beads
1 gold or gold glitter pony bead
Black sharpie marker or craft paint pens for drawing on eyes.
Special Instructions: Follow the string
path carefully in diagram #1 for making the star points and belt.
Diagram #2-To attach the star points, pull one of the strands through the bead marked as #1 and do the same for the other strand. This diagram shows only the beads that will be added along with the string path. With one strand, add on beads #2 &3 and go through beads #4, 5 & 6. Add on two more red beads and go through beads #7 & 8. Repeat this process on the other side. In the usual manner, add the 2 white beads and then add the last red bead. From there, we will connect the newly added beads. Take both strands and go down through the middle Yellow bead. Follow the string path through red beads (#2&3), black bead (B), and two red beads. Repeat on the other side and knot.
