Materials:
2 ½ yards ribbon, cord or
plastic lacing*
1 key ring or lanyard hook
77 Black pony beads
20 Neon green pony beads*
4 Clear pony beads
Special Instructions:
Weave the first 3 rows of beads as usual. On each strand, add on 2
black beads and weave each strand back through the second bead.
Pull tight and continue on with the 4th row of the pattern
and down to the 10th row
(the last one) in the usual manner. After the last row which
consists of 9 beads, lace on 3 black beads. Skip bead #3 and weave
back through beads #1&2 and then weave the strand through
2 beads of the previous row.
Repeat on other side and tie knots.
*Notes: Because
of the clear beads, I used ¼ inch iridescent ribbon from Hobby
Lobby. I was going for the look of rising bubbles. You could
also change the color of the brew to perhaps a neon pink,
orange, or even
glow in
the dark beads.
