Woodstock

designed by Evelyn McDermand

        Materials:

2 1/2 yards ribbon, cord or plastic lacing
1 key ring or lanyard hook
        77 yellow pony beads
        1 black pony bead
        10 yellow mini pony beads

Special Instructions:  Follow the string path carefully on this pattern.  Begin by making the three top “feathers” using the mini beads
and one strand.  Next, add the first row of 3 beads.  With one strand, make the nose.  Make another “feather” with the other strand.

Add the next row of beads.  Add the last feather and the next row containing 4 beads, attaching the nose.  Follow the string path for
making the wings.  Make one wing with the other strand (not shown).  When you reach the last row of the body, do not weave back
through the last bead.  Make the feet by stringing on 7 beads onto one strand and weaving back though 2 beads and up through 2 beads.

Go through 2 beads of the last row of the body.  Do the same for the other leg.  Make the tail using one strand and going through the last
row of the body and knot ends together.

Note:  You can use all mini beads to make the pattern smaller, which should go well with Margo’s Snoopy pattern.
