Horsea - Pokémon #116

designed by Evelyn McDermand

Materials:

3 yards ribbon, cord or plastic lacing
1 key ring or lanyard hook
57 turquoise pony beads
27 ivory pony beads
1 white pony bead
10 mini turquoise pony beads
Red sharpie marker or craft paint for drawing on eye.

Special Instructions:

For 3-D Spikes : When you get to the red stars refer to the drawing below for making and attaching the spikes. This is done with one strand going through the bead marked with the star. Add the beads, go back through the beads and back through the star marked bead and coming out the side to start the next row.

For 3-D Tail: After completing pattern, down to the row of two beads, string 10 beads onto one strand. Go back through bead #7. This will curl the end. Then go through the bead in the last row of the body, marked as bead #0 to attach the tail as shown.

The next step is shown with a green string path on the pattern. Go through bead # 8 bead and go through the 3rd row of beads from the bottom. This will secure the curled tail to the body to keep it from falling. Tie knots on the sides.
